Alec Mena

As a Research Assistant focused on IJ’s License To Work project, Alec Mena is helping shed light on occupational licensing laws across the US and their impact on economic liberty. He interned with the Strategic Research team prior to joining full time in 2020, and previously participated in the Charles Koch Institute’s Internship Program. Originally from the Los Angeles area, Alec graduated with high honors from Hillsdale College in 2019, earning a B.A. in Political Economy with a minor in Philosophy.
